Hi,

I have spent over 30 years in the IT industry in various roles, starting off in Operations back in 1989. Even before I got a job in the industry I was interested in computers and programming and got an O-Level in Computer Studies back in 1984, I think we were the first year to have that as an option at our High School.

These days I am interested in all things Cloud and Automation. Having particular interests in subjects such as:

  • Azure
  • CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Pulumi
  • Configuration Management: Ansible
  • Containers: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python

Note:
The old Windows logo comes from when I worked in Accenture. In the early days we used MSN Messenger for IM in the company. I used that icon to show that I was in the Windows Server team and have just kind of adopted it ever since, even though I haven't been in a "Windows" team for quite a few years.
